Opportunity to order the “half size” Township maps

  After several requests, we are having the “half size” township maps of around 1840 reprinted and, as before, they will be professionally printed in full colour. They are 44 inches wide and between 22 and 30 inches high, on thick paper. The price is £22.50 each.

The closing date is 31^st July 2007 and we should receive the maps about four weeks later, when we will contact you.

Township maps available: Brackenthwaite, Buttermere, Embleton, Lorton and Loweswater (not including Mockerkin) Whinfell, and possibly Wythop if there is sufficient interest.

Please see the overall map below which shows the coverage of each map and Derek Denman if you wish to order one. A full sized map of Loweswater can be seen at the Kirkstile. There will be an opportunity to have the face laminated for protection, at an extra cost of about 40%. Please indicate if interested. Please note a building is included only if it, or a predecessor, was there at the time of the map, about 1840.
